Yeah, I know. There hasn’t been much quilting lately. It’s hard to quilt in a small apartment! I have been doing a few though. I put together the Pineapple Blossom quilt top and currently have it on the hand quilting frame. I’m thinking of pulling it off and doing it on the machine though. I never intended this one to be hand quilted and some of the seams are throwing me for a loop! Yesterday I got an Oklahoma Backroads quilt cut out and I’m going to start sewing it today. It will probably be sold on my Artfire shop when I get finished with it. I’ve worked on my Arkansas Snowflakes quilt some, and I’ve decided on a setting for it. I’ve also finished all the blocks for the Blueberry Buckle quilt. Hopefully I’ll get pics later today, I need to get batteries for my camera! Oh, and I finished another pair of socks!

These are Pointelle from Knit.sock.love by Cookie A. They were so much fun to do, and I love the yarn(Knitpicks Stroll Tonal in Blue Yonder)

Well, I’ve finished some more socks. Here they are:

These are Sheri’s Posies from the book Socks from the Toe Up by Wendy D. Johnson, and I used Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Semisolid in Mulberry.

These are Sport weight toe up socks with a gusset heel also by Wendy D. Johnson, pattern here I used Sensations Kashmira in purple stripe from Joanns.

These are Hedera socks from the book Knit.sock.love by Cookie A. and I used Trekking Maxima in colorway 904.

Total pairs finished: 4
Pairs to go: 48

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about my Artfire shop. I’ve recently added stitch markers and keychains. In a few days, I will have some fingerless mitts and a hat to add, as well as more stitch markers.

So, I’ve gone a little bit crazy. I’ve decided to try to knit 52 pairs of socks in 1 year. That’s a sock a week. I’m a little bit behind because of a shoulder injury, but I’m getting there! Here’s completed pair number 1!

These are Sunrise socks by Wendy D. Johnson. You can find the pattern here I used Cherry Tree Hill yarn in the colorway Birches. More to come later, hopefully a full list of the socks I want to finish this year.

Just a quick post to show the progress I made on my sock yarn blanket this past week. I’ve gotten pretty far, thanks to a few trades. Here’s a pic:

Ignore the mess on the sewing table, that’s today’s project.
No word yet on whether I’ll get the spindle, still have the sewing room, living room, and kitchen to go.

So I’m playing around on the Ravelry forums because, well, what else would I be doing? Cleaning? And I found this spindle. Now I want it! Hubby said if I can get the house clean, he might let me get it:D Off to clean like a mad woman!
